The town of Manilva is located in the  S.W. of the province of Málaga , 97 km far from Malaga city and 35 km from  Gibraltar. With an extension of 35.30 km, is the union point  between the Costa del Sol and  Campo de Gibraltar. Manilva is 128m  above sea level, anual rainfall of 750L/m2 and mean temperature of 18 º C.
It´s orography is formed by a  series of hills in terraces from the sea to the inland, making possible either  green turism or  sea turism.
The current population is 14,346 , distributed in three villages, Manilva, Sabinillas and El Castillo and numerous developments. The  population is three times the usual in the summer.
